The pledge to me??It means that we,Singaporeans,vow to be united as one no matter what happens, through thick and thin.It also mean that it does not matter what race cause we are all equal and we will always uphold justice and equality.

My first running competition

Today, 24/5/2009, I had my first running competition, Cold storage kids run. The race was at Padang@marina bay. At run, there was a carnival it had all sorts of games and entertainment. My run started at 8am but we had to report at 7am. For the run, we had to tie a strap around our left leg as we started at different timing. The route was from Padang to Anderson Bridge and u-turned back, turned once at Victoria Concert Hall and again at Asian Civilisation Museum. Continue running until Padang.

Hmm TOTAL DEFENCE, big word.

Did you know that we started total

defence for two reasons? Firstly, Singapore is a young nation with a small population and we cannot maintain a regular armed force. Next, the nature of warfare changes over the year.
Total defence is not meant for wartime only. It is to prepare us for all
threats and challenges such as global terrorism or SARS.

Home is the best place to be.It is a place where all my family member live well,most of them.Here is a saying"there no place like home."Now that prove home is the place to be .
